In between the IP-5B and IP-2B, the IP-RKN is constructed using white hickory and has a quick taper and a nylon bead. These attributes combine to assist heavy metal / rock drummers with a stick that plays fast with great punch and rebound around the drums. The Nylon bead creates a very articulate and bright timbre to make sure faster drum passages remain clear. Perfect for a harder hitting gig, and also available with a wood tip.
